CTR
Click-Through Rate — the percentage of people who click a link after seeing it.
Example: An email with 1,000 impressions and 50 clicks has a 5% CTR.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of visitors who complete a desired action (purchase, signup, download).
Example: A 3% conversion rate on 1,000 visitors = 30 conversions.
Bounce Rate
The percentage of visitors who leave a site after viewing only one page.
Example: A 70% bounce rate suggests content or UX issues for most pages.
Funnel
The multi-stage journey from first awareness to final conversion — typically TOFU, MOFU, BOFU.
Example: A blog post (TOFU) → product page (MOFU) → checkout (BOFU) is a content funnel.
A/B Test
A controlled experiment comparing two versions of a page, email, or ad to determine which performs better.
Example: Testing two headline variants to see which drives more tool signups.
